The Herbalists are primitive witches, made of fabric that has been primed with gesso and then painted with acrylic paint. The witches measure 6 1/2" long and 8" high. They are mounted on a footed wood base. The noses are needle sculpted and the features painted. The hands have been added seperately with individual fingers. They hold small bundles of dried flowers.
